As an assignment from my own coach, I wrote my favorite clients and asked what they found unique and fascinating about me that caused them to choose me as their Bar Exam Mentor or Life Coach. What is it that I find unique and fascinating about Jennifer Duclair, I don't think I've ever met anyone that I instantly felt like could be one of my best friends. At the risk of sounding cliche, she could say exactly what I was thinking before I had a chance to say it.
Maybe my case was just special, but I doubt it, Jennifer has a gift that allows her to get into your mind and help you uncover things that you never knew existed. Once those things are uncovered, she does this amazing job of helping you take care of it like it's nothing.
I feel blessed to have stumbled upon her when I did because I was about to go into my third round of bar studying, and I knew I had to do something different. It's not easy to understand what people are going through and what they've experienced unless you've been there before
With Jennifer mentoring me, I've never felt more understood and heard. I didn't feel bad about feeling and I no longer had to say to myself, "you have to ignore it and get over it.”
A lot of the time people don't realize just how much of a role your mind plays in the things you set out to do. I've never met anyone like Jennifer her level of knowledge and her ability to empathize is like none l've ever seen.

“I'm happy to help! I find you unique and fascinating for a few different reasons. I hope what I am going to say is not offensive because it isn't intended to be.
I feel like an outsider in the legal world. My parents weren't lawyers. They were hard-working middle to upper-middle class people. I have often felt self-conscious about taking part in the legal community and felt looked down upon. From the very get go you never did that. You were always down to earth and friendly. I felt accepted by you. I could relate to what I perceived to be your struggles as a woman of color in law. As I came to know you better you only became more fascinating. Learning that you had a career prior to law made you unique and fascinating and finding out you are a single mom did, as well.
In my bar prep experience (because, let's face it, I've been at this a few years), everyone I encountered was a boujee, middle-aged, white man, who was already a lawyer, who probably passed the first time, and was only doing bar prep as a side gig. Unlike me in every way. They never talked about the mental aspect to success. In my previous life ! showed horses competitively and won two world titles. I knew how much mindset applied to that area. Nobody before you ever mentioned it as it pertained to law. You are a pioneer.
Perhaps what I find most fascinating is that you have such a passion for mindset work and for helping other people who are struggling to reach their dreams and unlock their true potential. I feel like without you I couldn't have achieved my most recent successes (lost 50 pounds and am so happy). I was never in a place to do it, mentally. I was ready to receive the message, but I don't think I would have accepted it from anyone else. I am not the kind of person to believe in some hocus pocus kind of stuff, so Lauren figured mindset work would be a hard sell, but it seemed like a no-brainer to me. I think that was because of you. All you need to do to expand your mindset business is let people meet you. It becomes apparent that you're a great and life-changing investment.”

What I find that is unique and fascinating about you is your gift and ability to make something that seems so overwhelming appear to be so small (i.e. bar exam). I never thought I would ever feel the sense of calmness and peace I felt going into the bar exam this past February after working with you. I have always felt a true connection with you and I can tell that you do what you do out of a true desire and drive that fuels you. I found your 5-day challenge at one of my lowest points and after day 1, I immediately felt relief and I hadn't met you before. To be able to connect with others on such a personal level so quickly and meet them at their point of need, is such a gift that you have.
