Interview with Successful Bar Exam passer
Dr. Michelle Thomas Drew
Michelle graduated law school over a decade ago and simply could not get past the Bar Exam hurdle. She was already quite successful in significant areas of life including already being a Doctoral degree holder and a college professor. Read Dr. Drew’s experience in finding and deciding to work with Bar Exam Mentor through JOURNEY to Bar Exam Success; and her 10+ year awaited victory over the Bar Exam.
Dr. Drew speaks to Jennifer Duclair, Esq the Bar Exam Mentor:
The one thing I never doubted is that I would become licensed one day. I think I finally got sick and tired of identifying myself as a lawyer by definition rather than an attorney-at-law.
I discovered your services once I began to search for a website and/or platform that connected bar takers in some form or fashion. I searched the web for what I thought I needed. I'm not sure what words I put in my search engine, but your website popped up.
You helped me realize where I was with taking this bar. I had to overcome some deep-seated thoughts, feelings, and perspectives in other areas of my life to push past where I mentally needed to be with taking this exam. As a bar mentor, you became my voice of reasoning to address those doubts and fears.
You became that source of wisdom, teacher, and supporter people need trying to get through this exam.
You are good at what you do. You know how to listen, observe, advise bar takers on specific actions and behaviors which allows the bar taker to do the work, in order to make the necessary changes, to make it their last and final time to get through the exam. Hence, the reason your program is needed [along] with other study materials.
My resistance was the money for sure. I had invested so much money in other products/services that I was literally unsure about the return on my investment although the return on my investment was for me. I was certainly unsure about investing that kind of time and money to only feel like I wasted my time and money whether I passed or not. But, I didn't feel like your product/service was gimmicky.
Ultimately, I understood the need for the product/service you created and offer. And that it is unlike anything else on the market for bar takers.
I must admit I remained skeptical for the 1st two sessions. I wasn't sure what I signed up for, and my thoughts literally were "Here you go again wasting money that you don't have."
Once I began the [proprietary process redacted], the rest is history, and you can mark this one in your books.
